Adorei o restaurante, ambiente e servico. Pescado excellente do mercado, a wonderful place to rat fresh fish from the fish market next door, friendly service and modest prices. Same owner I believe for 50 years, memories of the past in a very pretty corner of Rio Grande near the lagoa and next to a beautiful old park

Menu típico da região, pessoal gentil servindo, o ambiente histórico do Mercado Público da cidade de Rio Grande-RS frente às águas do cais do Porto Velho... e se a escolha for frutos do mar, pode acompanhar com um vinho branco. Mas recomendo ir com tempo porque o local é bem popular e senão, o almoço de vocês pode ter que esperar.

Restaurante delicioso, que carrega consigo a história da cidade do Rio Grande! O ambiente chama atenção pela simplicidade, um verdadeiro "boteco" raíz. Os frequentadores são dispostos a dividir a mesa para acomodar todos. O atendimento é excelente, com muita agilidade para tomar os pedidos. Porém, o ponto alto é a comida mesmo! Sabor caseiro, que resgata o melhor da culinária local, com frutos do mar sempre frescos.

Não somos de Rio Grande e estávamos buscando um lugar bem avaliado para almoçar até que encontramos o Beira Mar. A primeira vista, a aparência do lugar não é muito bacana, mas isso faz parte do charme. É um restaurante raiz! Pedimos um peixe frito com arroz de camarões e nos surpreendemos absurdamente. O peixe estava perfeito, sequinho e saboroso. O arroz de camarões bem temperado! Voltaria na cidade somente para comer esse prato novamente. Detalhe, pedimos meia porçao para duas pessoas e saímos extremamente satisfeitos. Além disso, vale a pena conversar com o senhor (dono) que fica no caixa. Um grande campeão de bocha da região.

O melhor restaurante "raíz" de Rio Grande. Ideal pra quem quer saborear frutos do mar, com preço justo e serviço rápido. Cardápio diverso e pratos grandes, facilmente divididos por duas ou três pessoas.

Local nostálgico, cara de lugar que você vai comer com o avô. As paredes abrigam dezenas de troféus antigos de bocha, além de um quadro com o cardápio onde diz "CRS" em vez de "R$". Atendentes simpáticas, pedido vem muito rápido, a parte visível da cozinha é bem limpa, única ressalva quanto ao ambiente é que você sai com cheiro de cozinha - talvez por ser instalado em um local muito antigo que não comporte um bom exaustor. Não se engane pelo valor, um único bife + uma porção de arroz e feijão servem muito bem dois adultos, fechando numa média de 20 a 30 reais por pessoa.
